Directions to Field
Riverside Park in Pennypack Park in Fairmount Park
** 2nd Alternate Field (Chamounix) Directions - below and to the right
You want to get to near Rhawn and State Rd. in the Northeast, just near Holmesburg Prison. From where you are, check I-95, the Roosevelt Boulevard or other arteries.
- Just south of Rhawn on State Rd looking East, there is an
access sign to the field, about 50-100 yds south of Rhawn.
- there should be a big blue sign that says, “Riverview Home Adult Services”
- The access road looks like a road for the Riverview Home Adult Services or for Holmesburg Prison.
- take this road and go about 1 mile and you should come to the
field.
A couple of notes:
1 – coming South on State Rd , if you hit Fluke’s Irish Pub,
you’ve gone too far
2 – coming North on State Rd , if you hit Rhawn, you’ve gone
too far.
3 – the access road can be difficult to spot. We’ll try to get some kind of marker up, but keep in mind it does look like an
access road to the prison or the adult services home.
4 – on the West side of State Rd. – opposite the access road
entrance – are a couple stores: Frankford Umbrella and York
A/C and Heating (to help landmark it).

The Prep

...from the Prep:
1) Proceed west on Girard Avenue past Girard College.
a) Girard Ave turns into Poplar.
2) At the dead end (which, oddly, is still Poplar), turn right.
3) At light, turn left onto Girard Ave. to go over Girard Bridge
towards the Phila. Zoo.
4) Stay in right lane, and at end of bridge, turn right (under
the overpass) onto Lansdowne Drive.
5) Follow this road and proceed straight through the sign
of Sweetbriar (after stopping, obviously).
a) As you come up the hill, make your first right,
b) At the Stop Sign, proceed straight.
c) Follow this straight to the field on the left hand side
(this will be before you arrive at Belmont Ave).
... from 76 East (and US 1 South)
1) US-1 SOUTH becomes I-76 EAST. Stay on 76 - go 1.4 mi
2) Take exit #341 towards WEST RIVER DR - go 0.2 mi
3) Bear on MONTGOMERY DR - go 0.4 mi
4) Turn on BELMONT AVE - go 0.1 mi
5) Turn on STATES DR - go 0.3 mi
6) Turn on N CONCOURSE DR - go 0.2 mi
7) Arrive at N CONCOURSE DR, PHILADELPHIA
... from 95 North and South; 76 West
1) I-95 North or South
2) Take exit #22 towards CENTRAL PHILA onto I-676 WEST
- go 2.9 mi
3) I-676 WEST becomes I-76 WEST - go 0.7 mi
4) Take exit #342 towards GIRARD Ave /Phila Zoo - go 0.3 mi
5) Continue on LANSDOWNE DR - go 0.7 mi
6) Continue on N CONCOURSE DR - go 0.7 mi
7) Arrive at N CONCOURSE DR, PHILADELPHIA
Directions to Prep Rugby Home Field
- These directions may be a little more round-about, but you will get there.
a1 - coming South on Belmont Ave,
cross over Edgely Drive and after
about .3 miles turn left on Belmont
Mansion Drive
a2 - coming North on Belmont, cross
over Montgomery Drive and after
about .5 miles turn right onto
Belmont Mansion Drive
b - turn left on Chamounix Drive and
bear to the right (do not go to the
left)
c - proceed on Chamounix Drive for
about .5 miles and field will be on
the right
