Prep Rugby, in conjunction with Temple RFC and Scranton RFC, is planning a small 7's tournament to honor Josias' memory. This tournament will be after our alumni game on Black Friday after Thanksgiving. The initial name "JS 8 Apple Pie 7's" reflects both Josias' position on the rugby pitch, and Josias' deep appreciation for apple pies.

In Memoriam: Josias Sterling '08
The funeral service for Josias was held on Saturday, August 8 at 10:00 a.m. at the Haitian Evangelical Baptist Church: 814 Chelten Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19138 (map)
The memorial service was held at the Prep on Sunday, August 9 at Noon in the Church of the Gesu.
A Josias Sterling Fund has been established and donations are now being accepted online or can be mailed to 1733 W. Girard Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130. Please be sure to note that the donation is in memory of Josias.
