Socials and Fundraising

Prep Rugby Socials are a great way for the club members, parents and supporters to enjoy the sport off rugby "off the pitch".   These events are great opportunities to share our excitement and experiences, foster support for the team, and share in the community that Prep Rugby is helping to create. 

They are also opportunities to meet some of the coaches and other parents and ask questions in an informal setting.  We are alwyas hopeful to have in attendance coaches, parents of current players, parents of some of Prep Rugby alumni who are now playing in their colleges, any Prep alumnus who ever played rugby, and other supporters of the team.
These socials allow us to take time off from the "busy-ness" of day-to-day activities and enjoy each other's company.

All proceeds from Socials will benefit the Prep Rugby Team.

What do we do and Why do we Fundraise?

As a club, Prep Rugby does not have the traditional funding of other sports.  To help, Prep Rugby has sold cookies, sold candles, held Beef-n-Beer's.  We do whatever we can to help provide the Prep Rugby players the best possible experience. 

Fundraising is necessary because:

•Helps to pay for medical kit supplies, field supplies, etc.;

•Helps the team to offset cost of some gear for players;
•Helps students who may be in need of some financial assistance,
–The team does not turn away any player because of finances;

•Focused fundraising will help students make team events, such as tours and tournaments which are essential to building team unity and identity.
